D. Resolution – to consider VDOT’s Six Year Secondary Road Construction Plan for Powhatan County for the period 2008-2009 through 2013-2014, and to approve the 2008-2009 Fiscal Year Budget for Secondary Road Construction.
E. 07-07-REZC, Kalco, Inc., (Subletts/Manakin Electoral District) requests the rezoning of 3.531 acres from R-C Residential Commercial to C Commercial with Conditions, and the rezoning of 2.5 acres from A-1 Agricultural and R-C Residential Commercial to C Commercial with Conditions. The purpose of the request is to permit commercial uses to be developed on the entirety of both parcels. The Comprehensive Plan designates the 3.531 acre parcel as Community Commercial (Future Land Use Plan Map) in a Business Service Area (Land Use Policy Map), and the 2.5 acre parcel as Community Commercial and Low Density Residential (Future Land Use Plan Map) in a Business Service Area (Land Use Policy Map). The subject properties are located on the northside of Anderson Highway (US 60) between the west end of Page Road (Rt. 675) and Douthit Court. Reference to Tax Map Parcels #43-24 and #43-24B.
F. 08-02-CUP, Arvis and Susan Paquette, (Powhatan Courthouse/Ballsville Electoral District) request renewal of a conditional use permit (CUP) for a second dwelling unit on a lot in the A-1 Agricultural District per §5.3(18)(b) of the Zoning Ordinance. The Comprehensive Plan designates the subject property as Low Density Residential (Future Land Use Plan Map) in a Rural Preservation Area (Land Use Policy Map). The property is located at 1122 Clayton Road and is 3.5 acres in size. Reference Tax Map Parcel #46- 11A.

G. 07-05-REZC, Ronald H. Oliver, Jr., (Powhatan Courthouse/Ballsville Electoral District) requests the rezoning of a one (1) acre parcel from R-C Residential Commercial to I-1 Light Industrial with Conditions, and the rezoning of 1.63 acres of a 5.45 acre split-zoned parcel from R-C Residential Commercial and I-1 Light Industrial with Conditions to I-1 Light Industrial with Conditions. The purpose of the request is to permit construction of a warehouse to serve an existing industrial use on an adjoining parcel. The Comprehensive Plan designates the subject properties as Village Mixed Use (Future Land Use Plan Map) in a Village Preservation Area (Land Use Policy Map). The subject properties are located at 4347 and 4353 Anderson Highway. Reference to Tax Map Parcels #26(4)2 and part of #26(4)3.
