COUNTY CODE AMENDMENT
C. 08-05-AZ. An Ordinance to amend Article 7 (Rural Residential – RR), Article 8 (Single Family Residential District – R-2), Article 10 (Single Family Residential District – R-5), Article 11 (Single Family Residential District – R-7), Article 12 (Residential Utility District – R-U) and Article 13 (Residential Commercial District – R-C). The purpose of the amendments is to add as a permitted use in each of these districts the keeping of up to four (4) dogs, cats, fowl, domestic animals, or pets. The amendments would also add gardening for flowers, vegetables, and fruits as customarily practiced in residential areas as permitted uses in these districts. Agricultural uses as permitted in the A-1 Agricultural District per 13.2(4) would be deleted as a permitted use.
VARIANCE TO THE SUBDIVISION ORDINANCE
D. 08-01-VS. Kenneth W. Moore Jr. (Powhatan Station/Graceland Electoral District) requests a variance to §6.2-2.0 of the Subdivision Ordinance. The purpose of the variance is to allow a proposed 3.251 acre family division parcel to access a regulated three (3) lot private road. The Comprehensive Plan designates the subject property as Low Density Residential (Future Land Use Plan Map) in a Rural Preservation Area (Land Use Policy Map). The subject property is approximately 13 acres in size and is located on the west side of Dorset Rd. (Rt. 622). Reference to part of Tax Map Parcel #53-73.

E. 08-05-PR. Kenneth W. Moore Jr. (Powhatan Station/Graceland Electoral District) requests approval to add a 3.251 acre family division parcel to an existing three lot regulated private road subdivision in the A-1 Agricultural District per §5.3-3.3 and §6.2-2.0 of the Subdivision Ordinance. The Comprehensive Plan designates the subject property as Low Density Residential (Future Land Use Plan Map) in a Rural Preservation Area (Land Use Policy Map). The subject property is approximately 13 acres in size and is located on the west side of Dorset Rd. (Rt. 622). Reference to part of Tax Map Parcel #53-73.
