[ARCHIVED] 2016 Mini Maker Festival

The Powhatan County Public Library is pleased to announce the second annual Maker Festival, which will take place on Saturday, February 27, 2016 from 10 am to 2 pm at the library. We are looking for volunteers to help and no experience is necessary, just a desire to participate and be a “co-learner” in this fun filled day.

Powhatan’s Virginia Cooperative Extension office will be bringing in their 4-H Maker, Paul Lambert. The family friendly festival will be focusing on “STEAM” activities, arts, crafts, science and technology.

All activities are FREE. Don’t miss this opportunity to explore your talents and inventions. Save the date and mark your calendar now, for Saturday, February 27th, at the Powhatan County Public Library, 2270 Mann Road, located in Fighting Creek Park. For more information, please contact the Powhatan Extension office 598-5640 or the library at 598-5670.
