We are currently transitioning to a new County wide operating platform. During this time our online portal at www.powhataninspections.com will no longer be update. We will soon have a new portal that allows for electronic submittal and online payment. This will provide much faster customer service and better payment options. We will also have email notifications sent directly to you once inspections are scheduled and again once they are updated in the system as being passed or failed. When applying for a new permit, please provide an updated email address on each application for the person who should be receiving these notifications. This will allow staff to move permits through our office faster without handling a large number of calls throughout the day.
