Join us for the public hearing on the FY25 proposed budget, scheduled for April 22nd at 6:00 PM in the auditorium at the Village Building, 3910 Old Buckingham Rd.
The proposal largely reflects the original recommendations by the County Administrator but now includes the addition of a new Sheriff’s Deputy and a corresponding vehicle. The salary for this new position has been accommodated within the current budget, ensuring no increase in overall spending. However, the $69,000 needed for the vehicle has been included in the Capital Improvement Plan (CIP) and will be covered by the existing General Fund balance. This session is a prime opportunity for community members to engage and discuss these changes.
