Powhatan and Goochland offices of Virginia Cooperative Extension, and Goochland Southern States Cooperative are hosting a Winter Equine Seminar on Thursday, December 1, beginning at 5:00pm at the Goochland Recreation Center: 2411 Sandy Hook Rd, Goochland, VA 23063. This program will provide equestrians in the area with knowledge on feeding the winter horse, electric fencing and pasture planning. Registration is $10 per person and tickets can be purchased at the Goochland Southern States: 1961 Sandy Hook Rd., Goochland 23063 by November 28, 2016. The event will start with a dinner; pre-registration is required.
