Powhatan County’s Hometown Heroes Banner Program is currently closed. Applications will reopen later in 2026, and we look forward to sharing updates as the next application period approaches.
Powhatan County is launching a Hometown Heroes Banner Program as a living tribute for our community to honor past and present service members.
Banners will be displayed in cycles and will be returned to the sponsor once cycle rotations are completed. Banner will be installed in the Village during appropriate times at the County's discretion. Light pole space is limited and all application are not guaranteed for first round.
