The Powhatan County Animal Control Division offers a community pet supply pantry available Monday through Friday between the hours of 9 am to 4 pm. This pantry is located inside the Animal Shelter and is designed to support pet owners during times of need. Our mission is to help keep pets in loving homes by providing temporary assistance with essential pet supplies. This service is open to Powhatan County residents who are experiencing financial hardship, housing instability, or other temporary challenges.

The pantry operates largely through community support.
